The story is trying to make a point about people during war time and the idea of loss of loved ones, This should be a good idea but She, The ultimate weapon managed to mess it up big time. The story is predictable and a total waste of time. It goes far to slow and makes very little sense.
The art is just aweful. The cover looked so much better than the art in the film. It has no elegant lines and though it is full of soft colours they stand out with the hard lines of the people and buildings drawn thoughout.
The characters are unrealistic and very, very boring. I felt nothing for them. They where annoying and their was not one good strong character that could be enjoyed. None of them seemed to be intellegent in any way. They didn't inspire the emotions that the film tried to push upon you.
I got no enjoyment from this anime. I found it painful to watch and in the end i gave up trying. I have never given up on an anime because it was just to bloody terrible to watch but i did with this.
Overall i would rather bath in spiders than watch this anime every again. It should not be called she, the ultimate weapon, It should be called she, the ultimate fail. It is borning and tries to force feelings for the characters that the story does not inspire. I hated this anime.
