I'm not particularly skilled at summing up individual parts of the story so I'll just do the whole thing
Story 10
Hellsing Ultimate is an anime that has successfully combined a mixture of popular genres that appeal to the viewers. It has an evenly paced developing storyline that-complemented by the style of art-creates an anime that pulls in the audience and leaves them hungering for more.
Art 9
When the scene calls for it, it can be brutally bloody and gorey, but it also has a few of those quirky bits for comic relief. The art style used in this anime works very well with the story line and characters.
Sound 9
The music choices in this anime enhance the scenes as well as storyline. My favorite scene with the music was in episode 7 with Seras Victoria(police woman) but if I say more it'll be a spoiler. Anyway, the music in that scene increased the effect of the action. It was my favorite part.
Characters 9
The characters in hellsing ultimate are well thought out portrayed very nicely. There are no major power ups except for later on when Seras "awakens" (oops, spoiler alert) and her vampire side comes out, but since it was Alucard who turned her you can guess what her vamp powers are like. Anyways, the characters are kept consistent with no extremely complicated twists to the story. It's easy to understand them and follow them along the story.
Enjoyment 10
For those who have seen it and shared my opinion, I need not say more. For those who haven't, I said earlier that I wasn't into all the blood and gore stuff, but for this anime, I loved how everything mixed well together to create this work of art. To sum Hellsing Ultimate up in one word, I would say that it's an absolute masterpiece!
