Jigokuraku is a great manga, having very thought-provoking mysteries and great fights. But let's go by parts.

Characters in the work are great, very charismatic and empathetic. This helps the reader to bond with them and fear for their lives (and rightly so). Not only that, but they are also very well developed from world perception and understanding of life.

The protagonist, Gabimaru, is great, he imposes a presence and has a great journey throughout history. Part of the story's concept is about balance, so he needs to understand empathy to become stronger and he has a development around that.

Jigokuraku's story is good, although it starts out somewhat uninteresting at first, as the author is concerned with building empathy with the characters. However, when that happens, the mysteries and concepts around the island take over and are quite thought-provoking.

The art is very beautiful, from the scenery to the fight choreography, which are very good. The fights in this manga are his highest point.

Finally, Jigokuraku is a great series with excellent fights and good characters. It even has a very satisfying ending, which leaves a taste of wanting more.

My only criticism of the work is that the end is a bit too hasty in closing its ends.
