The Story is pretty generic, it's all about slaying Goblins and there isn't much more depth to it. The characters and their relationships are pretty flat and it's hard to identify or relate with any of the characters which is why it can get boring to watch sometimes. On the other Hand though the animation itself isn't too bad (except for Goblin Slayer's constant CGI-walking) and I enjoyed most of the fighting scenes against the Goblins.
Verdict: It's a good anime if you don't care a lot about world and character building. The Story is pretty generic and can get boring at times but it's a great anime if you just want to lean back and enjoy some brutal and gory fighting scenes.
