Sound:
The sound is a little lacking tbh, you hardly ever notice it, and the music choice doesn't really fit the theme of anime. Whenever there comes a fighting scene, there is this dubstep kind of music, which really doesn't fit at all, since the anime is set in a "mafia" like setting.
Animation:
The animation of Gangsta is a little low budget, there lacks a bit of fluidity in the motion, which lowers the quality of the fight scenes. Sometimes it just seems that its a picture moving across the screen, which is quite unpleasing to look at. but other than that, I really like the art style, its original, and there isn't really characters that look alike.
Characters:
Here is where Gangsta excels, the characters in this show are very well written, and loveable, the main characters for an example have great chemistry and dynamic between the two, which adds to the immersive aspect of the show.
Overall:
All in all its a great show with amazing characters, with average animation, so if you are looking for a great short anime this should definitely be on your list. I would rate the show a good 8/10, I would rate it higher if it had a proper ending, but the shows production was stopped after Manglobe went bankrupt :(, which is quite sad, because of the potential of the show.
