Honestly this anime was a really well written one in my opinion. A really unique one that I've never seen anything like it. I never really looked into anime's like this till now and this one was a really interesting story that talked about how war splits people and changes people but at the same time you can adapt and overcome from situations like those and become a better person no matter the situation. It's really interesting to see how the story develops and how Violet develops throughout the whole story. Usually I would skip through episodes if they didn't provide any interesting bits to it and uniqueness to it but for this anime I didn't skip it at all. I loved the characters they had their own background, the design of them was really planned out well and the animation is just fantastic, I loved every second of the show. It was a really emotional anime as well which just showed how interesting it was and how the characters dealt with their emotions & displayed them.
The opening itself is an absolute masterpiece with the soundtrack, reminds me of Unravel in Tokyo Ghoul, you never want to get rid of it and listen to it non stop.
Watching Violet develop throughout the whole anime brought a tear to my eye, as well as many episodes in this anime. It gets you really emotional from it's story telling and I loved it, the characters were down to earth and it felt like you were almost just listening to them in a real life scenario which shows how excellent the character design, detailing and dialogue of them was. You could really feel their emotions and it's just an amazing connection throughout the whole show.
Overall it's an amazing anime, has an absolutely amazing soundtrack, awesome animation, great characters, a good storyline, and well paced.
10/10.
