When you find out about about these kind of manga and find out it has been axed by it's publish company, totally wasted opportunity. Phantom seer could have been definitely potential anime. It has all these charm, that requires a show in shonen genre. Story was neither bad nor a masterpiece, but concept of the manga definitely had strong plot, that could have take it to a new level. Hope it will get a second chance.

The most praising thing about this manava is it's art. In the drawings of characters, you can easily distinguish characters doesn't look same like in some of other manga does. There were minimum potholes and plot armour, but the scenario of the circumstances took care of those for me, like that mirror dimension house arc.

Story of the Phantom Seer follows a boy named Iori, who is a skilled Shaman( Those who use spiritual powers). Boy is unstable with life, tries to maintain himself by not using his power ends up saving Riku, a girl who is cursed. That leads him on the battle with more Phantom. Phantom are the spirits with different variety and characteristics. And a Shaman's job is to protect those, who has been cursed. There are many originations involved with these phantom to stop being danger to humanity, and same goes for Phantoms. But, couldn't explore the devlopment of hierarchy of organisation and villains as manga was axed by Shounen Jump.

But, it's definitely a Anime material. 8/10
