If you are afraid to read this manga because you think it will be an age gap romance, don’t worry cuz IT’S NOT.
Before i start, maybe some of you are asking right now why it only gets a 7 despite all the great things in this manga. But, believe me, i don’t even know why i give this a 7 because i know for sure this manga deserve 8 or 9. And i came to a conclusion The reason i give 7 is because the story isn’t mainly focused on romantic relationship. But, believe me, it is a really great manga and deserve a read.
Story (8/10)
The story is about a playboy, called Kippei. Suddenly, when he gets home, her family ask her to take responsibility in taking care of yuzuyu, a 5 year old girl whose mother ran away. Unexpectedly, later on kippei found that taking care of yuzuyu is fun and he loves her so much. As you can see, the story is so unusual and it’s not just a cliche shoujo manga. The focus is on the kippei and yuzuyu relationship and it is not romance as i said. But, don’t you worry cuz there is the other girl called kokoro and she is the romance interest in this manga.

I have known this author because her art work is just so good. I know most people think aishiteruze baby’s art work is not as amazing as her other work, but for me it is still considered very good. All the character drawn beautifully and if i have to say one negative thing is maybe the hair is kinda weird sometimes. But, still i love it.

The character is nice and every one of them have their own unique traits. What i love the most about this manga is you can’t find any annoying character. Most of them are nice and cute. I love kippei the most because although he is stupid, he always do his best and he is a really nice person. Kippei is a really nice older brother to yuzuyu and he also tries to be the best boyfriend for kokoro. But, what i love the most about him is he is portrayed as a really patient and amazing older brother who cared for his little sister

I enjoy this manga, but i’m not amazingly attracted to this manga and the reason is definitely because the focus is not romance and the drama is not the type i want it to be. But, i still enjoy it when i read this
So, as u can see, even when you calculated all the score i put in this manga it must be an 8. And believe me, although i give 7 to this manga, the 7 is so close to the 8. So, what are you waiting for, read this. MAJOR SPOILER : i found the ending really sad, but also satisfying in its own way. I mean, i understand that at last, kippei realized yuzuyu’s happiness is when she met and live with her mother, and that is her utmost happiness, that’s why he let her go. I also really appreciate the author for making that last scene where yuzuyu write a letter for kippei. The content of the letter gives me a chill when i read it and i believe kippei is also proud of himself.
