I like almost all sports anime, and this is no exception. When I first read the synopsis, I was like this sounds kind of boring wtf is karuta, but it's literally so interesting! The show does a great job explaining what karuta is and you don't need any background knowledge of it. The characters are written really well and they all have realistic personalities and the story is realistic as well. The art style is pretty different than other animes, but I love it so much. It also doesn't drag on too much, and I think it has a good pace with moving on to the plot. Soo go watch Chihayafuru nowww!
