Vinland Saga is a really good new gen anime, ofc there are a lot of animes that take place in the past but vinland saga is one of the best, the story is really good and has nice character development, if you haven't watched it yet then i can just recommend because it's so good and im sure if you're a fan of animes that play in the past or a fan of good character development or story then im sure you would enjoy Vinland Saga. Also the voice actors really did a great job (im talking about the japanese version since im sub only) but it can really give you nice vibes since it's such a good anime. The openings are also so good, the first opening is one of my favorite anime openings ever.
