It is a truly beautiful anime, which combines the paths we take in life with the funny little anime moment we all love.
One of the things I found truly amazing was the depth and differences in character. Each person has their own hidden secrets and tendencies, their own feelings. I loved the way the characters grew before my eyes throughout the series and I want to keep following their journeys after this series and the next had finished.
Another thing I found very amazing was how they realistically portrayed feelings, love and unrequited love. In most shows these are not portrayed as realistically as you would like, and, even it is romantic, it doesn't grasp how you would feel if you were in there shoes. However, for me, Honey and Clover does an excellent job of this, I really felt like I had gone through what they were going through, and I would sit there and go, 'that is exactly how I would feel.'
This anime really captures you and allows you to follow and wish to be part of this story, but it also allows to not want to be part of the story and instead, just watch.
