That said, this show is fun enough to get me to really get into it! The first episode alone is a masterpiece and that's what got me to watch the show. It's a lot of fun to watch, with fun songs and dancing animations.
I will say that I do wish that we could see more of the character backstories, but there's only so much you can pack into a 12 episode season. Luckily, season 2 is on the way! In addition, there are definitely some handwavey things, but the explanation of those things isn't really important, when the focus is on something else entirely.
Art's very bright and colorful, and while I've never been a fan of 3D anime characters, with an exception here or there, the sequences were still entertaining and fun to watch.
