The only bad part about the story is the fan service. Lovers of fan service won't mind, but some might. Some scenes seem totally out of place. It was sometimes as if a different person was suddenly writing the series. The flow however, progresses nicely. The viewer will automatically be sucked in regardless of the fan service.
Art: One of the best parts of this series has got to be the art. The characters have their own unique look, nothing is out of place, and the contrast is great. The zombies have a distinct look, and the art seems a little darker in places.
Sound: The sound in this series is great as well. The small details are all there, and none of the dubbs sound odd. I usually don't like watching English dubbed Anime, but I certainly didn't mind. Viewers will really be able to appreciate the sound in this series, even down to the screams of terror.
Characters: The characters in the series are good, but they have quite a few odd personality traits to them. Three of the characters are stuck in a love triangle, only to have one of them die. Some of the female characters switch from complete confident, to just needing a man. I found it to be quite odd, but it worked for this series.
Also, there seems to be way more female characters than male ones. This is probably because of the fan service. I didn't mind though, because most of the females can fight. They're portrayed confidently for the most part. All of the characters though seem to have a deeper side to them.
Enjoyment: I really did enjoy this series. It easily pulls the viewer in from the very first episode. Despite the fan service, I suspect that most will be able to enjoy this series too. One of the things that ruined the enjoyment though was the very end. It just seems to stop in an odd place.
Overall: To my surprise, this was a very good series. The story, art, and sound made it a fun experience. Zombie theme lovers will probably love this series especially. If you're new to fan service or zombie themes, don't worry this series is probably a good start to pick up a new interest.
