Preliminary (2/11 eps)
I don't know where to start. I don't want to be too harsh about this because I've only watched two episodes, but so far I think it's entertaining. I'll be as nice as I can in this review.

Story
I find the story intriguing, but I'm disappointed by its episodic nature. It's like there's no point to what I'm watching because it'll just be irrelevant in the next episode. I hope there's something that ties this all together and it's not just pointless. I would've liked things to be longer. I'm not saying Tatami should be one of those overly long animes with lots of fillers, but it's hard to thoroughly examine 4 years in one episode. I would've liked it to be a bit longer. That's just me. I like analyzing things. I'm afraid that if it just rewinds back at the end of each episode the show will become boring, and repetitive. And how's the character development going to play out here if we're just watching them repeat things in a different universe? Maybe they should've showed the universes from different points of views so that you'd get to know the characters more, and to avoid repetitive things. If each episode ends the same way, Watashi-san refuses to find love, and it's that way for the entire series, I can't say that I'll be impressed by this. I find the concept interesting, how it's playing out so far can be better, and I'm worried about how this is going to turn out. I may be speaking too soon so I won't take any points off for that.

Art
Personally, I love the artwork. It's very distinct, and appealing. The backgrounds are done very beautifully, and the characters are drawn nicely. As far as character design goes they are just very appealing. Nothing amazing, but they're very nice. And gasp! You can actually tell some of the characters apart. I love how they gave some of the characters very distinct features. However, I am not fond of Watashi-san's character design. Plus it reminded me too much of Mr.Despair's. I also want to note the clothing because I can tell the art directors put some thought into them. Unlike in most animes where they're just outlandish. I liked their use of patterns, tones, textures, shades, and sometimes the usage of actual pictures/videos. That makes the artwork edgy, and unique. However, the animation was a mess. The animations were choppy, and lazy more than half the time. Sometimes the animations got ridiculously choppy, and it seemed to be more of amateur work. Although I can tell they put lots of effort into the artwork it just doesn't make up for the terrible animation. Not to mention they reused a lot of animations. That just makes the show more boring. Don't get me wrong. The animation wasn't extremely choppy...most of the time, but it's choppy just enough for you to notice it. It makes me wonder. Did they not shade, used a lot of textures, and used real stuff etc for artistic purposes or because of budget money? Maybe just pure laziness. That just bugs me, and takes a bit away from the niceness of the artwork.

Sound
I like the sound. I think the soundtrack is quirky, especially the ED. I like the OP, but it doesn't really stand out to me. The bgm is decent, but I'm not really listening to it. It's not noticeable, or remarkable. I love the ED, I like the OP. Overall, Idk it's alright.

Character
I think all of the characters are unique, and I really enjoy them. Although they're very vague, and I'd like to get to know them more. So far Watashi-san seems a bit of a blah main, but just a little bit. I don't know how I'm going to if I just watch them repeat shit, but maybe there's some sort of twist end I'm not aware of. I'll say it again. I'm very very worried about character development right now because of its episodic nature. It'll go back and time, and all that they've learned will be worth nothing in the next episode. +points for the characters being realistic for once in an anime.

Enjoyment
The overall enjoyment of the show is fairly high for me. None of it is laugh out loud for me or anything, but it's just amusing. The weirdness of the situation, and the oddness of the characters. How they present it to you is great, but it could play out better. This kind of thing is very hard to find in anime. Like I said, I'm very worried about this getting old, and me getting bored of it a couple episodes from now. And let's not forget Watashi-san's fast talking. Right now it's kind of annoying to me, and I hope they stop doing it in later episodes.

Overall
This anime is lots of fun, and its strange nature is amusing. Although essential, and technical aspects take away from it. I feel like it's just a show too focused on details rather than the big picture. In the end there better be a point to all of this.
