The plot of wonder egg is simple enough for even a goofy brain like me could understand and fully getting deep into the stories of not only Oto Ai-the main girl but also her friends. Its about the bully and some other controlversial problems like children abuse, sex harassment,…. The storytelling is just brilliant. At some point of the episode, there was no line, but viewers can still understand the plot easily through the incredible visualtelling ( the storytelling method that mostly use visual to tell story instead of using character’s conversation or straight up explain the story ) . Unlike the Mahou no Tabi bad storytelling way that make me hate it so much, this “ show don’t tell” way of storytelling makes it more interesting. Instead of understand the story instantly, the viewers will have the chance to go through out the show, look at every frames and thinking about the stories that had just happened in front of their eyes. For examble, the scene when Oto Ai saw her best and only friend’s body, that’s just sad. It’s also very good at creating the atmosphere that could bring up or might bring down your mood. Sometimes it makes you sad , sometimes it brings up your smile. One of the reason why I love Wonder egg priority so much is the fact that I makes me feel the emotions that I had never had before watching other anime
The characters in Wonder egg priority is the strongest, the most realistic characters that ever existed. They are not just some generic girls that we had seen from most show, they just hit better. Oto Ai is a 14 years old girl who got bullied for having different eyes colour. When her only friend got bullied, she cant overcome her cowardice to protect her friend. After witnessed her friend’s death, she turned into a hikikomori and hiding her self from the world. But then after going to the dream world the first time she went from a coward, she wants to change her self, to have the balls to stand up, to save the others.. In every single scene of ep 1 we can easily empathize her, and understand her not like a character, but a 14 years old girl
The op is banger. The soundtrack goes crazy when there is an epic fight, and goes slow when the are some emotional moments or interactions among the characters
I’m not gonna go deep into other character because I want everyone who gives this show a chance in their watch list, I hope they will have the greatest time watching this masterpiece. Easily my all time favorite anime from now on
