This movie is about suicide, self-pity, remorse, depression but ultimately.... self-forgiveness.

After finishing the movie, I was speechless, I couldn't talk even if I wanted to, it is to date the only show that have made me sit and watch the credits roll. I finished the movie with a melancholic feeling and it lingers on my heart even after days of finishing it. I didn't feel like immediately jumping on to YouTube or MAL to see what others think about the show, I didn't feel like talking with my friends about the show, I felt I needed time to fully digest and process what I've just experienced.

Throughout the show there was scenes that made me felt uncomfortable and scenes that are hard to watch, it's because they are portrayed in such a human way, especially the bullying and confrontation scenes. It didn't feel like a fictional story, it felt like a true story. If I can describe A Silent Voice in a word, it would be touching.

I don't even know if the people who made this are alive anymore. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Kyoto Animation, for the love, passion and respect you've put into this medium.
