Hyouka is amazing. It starts off with Oreki, which every veteran can recognize as "oh that character that is lazy and chill and doesn't really do anything" but then this oreki guy's character development evolves so well with the story. The chemistry between oreki and the characters is so well written as well as all the mysteries. (BTW for a writer, mysteries should be difficult to write compared to action or something). But the side character Naka-chan. Holy crap, one of the best written and most interesting side characters, all while keeping the show realistic. Also the side chick that likes naka chan i forgot her name, but she has short hair. She kinda bad bro, but usually people don't like a character like that. But for a realistic character that aesthetically isn't that attractive, the character is written like a charm. You see every single character mature throughout the show and develop in their own way all while keeping their chemistry with the other characters, and still being that character. For instance, in the final scene, I wished I got a more formal answer, but the response Oreki gave and how he experienced his ending was PERFECT for his character and is still "Oreki", not what the viewers want. The only "bad thing" is slow pacing, but slow pacing isn't necessarily a bad thing in itself.

Like someone once said, "the details aren't that important".

This is one of the FEW shows I actually want a season 2 in, and I am desperate and hungry for more of Chitanda's Kiminamimasu.

I also want to touch in on the final scene and how it was beautifully written yet dissatisfied the viewers. If u don't remember it goes like

Chitanda: oh i stopped doing that business stuff cuz but i wanted u to look at my rich land look at me I'm rich mofo it may not look like the most beautiful place or whatever but i wanted u to look at it oreki

oreki: maybe ill take over the business part (aka proposing)

this was a scenario in orekis head, but he didn't confess because he didn't want a rose colored life because that didn't fit his character

but then....
oreki: its kinda cold bruh its brick outside

chitanda: nope, its already spring.

Holy Shit. How beautifully written that is. If u don't understand she is saying that his life is already a rose-colored life because she is in it, and the final 10 or 5 seconds of the episode is both of them looking at a rose-colored sunset.
