In an era where we're all suppose to come together and put our best out; regardless of sex, color, creed, et al; it always seems to be Japan's anime and otaku industries (and the people they cater to) that want to throw monkey wrenches into the engines of progress.
But hey. That's just my personal opinion.
I thought it would be better if it wasn't just women being Claymores. I wished that some more "gender equality" (as oppose to some "gender war") would take place. I didn't like how the anime excluded the manga part where Raki became what he became and was capable of taking down low-level Yoma...
But that, sadly, is how people want for it to go, I guess...
