Kotoura-san was an anime I didn't expect to like, but here we are, giving it a 9/10.
The story was actually really good for a simple slice-of-life with a little bit of
supernatural. The supernatural element was actually used quite a bit in different
situations, and it didn't get repetitive. All loose ends got tied up at the end, leaving
a pretty much watertight story. And the characters were deep enough to not bore
anyone.
The art was good, so was the sound. I can't say much because I don't understand
these criteria.
The characters were, as I said above, deep enough not to bore anyone, as well as
provide a bunch of comic relief.
I personally didn't enjoy this too much because of my personal tastes, but it was a
good story nonetheless.
If you are seriously running out of stories to watch, give this a try, it's not bad and
there are worse things out there.
(I am not writing a very good review here, am I? I guess I just don't have that
much to say...)
