** THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT MAY SPOIL SOME PARTS OF THE ANIME**
Though I felt there was a lot of missed opportunities to make the series better, Yakusoku no Neverland was nevertheless still an amazing anime. This anime really tugged at my heart and it provided a storyline that hasn't been seen.

Story: 9/10
As many others say, there was a lot of missed potential in this series. Despite that, I believe the story was unique and intriguing. This anime tugs at the watcher's heartstrings through using children and the hard truth of their own reality. There were so many twists and turns in this anime, it left me on the edge of my seat, excited to see what would happen next. The only reason I give the story a 9/10 rather than a 10/10, there were many opportunities to liven the series even more. Most of it relating to the lack of build up on the antagonists. The story also felt kind of rushed, which I feel contributed to the lack of story building.

Art: 10/10
I truly loved the art style of this anime. The art style really strengthens the tension and the emotions that are felt here. When Emma realizes the truth of the Grace Field House and where the children go after this "foster home," the despair and panic was truly shown on her face. The art and animation style is also very smooth and unique to its own.

Sound: 8/10
The sounds in this anime was pretty well done, though there wasn't much that stood out to me. The voices matched the characters well, music for the opening and closing were wonderful, there wasn't much that stood out to me.

Character: 9/10
I absolutely loved the characters in this show, though I believe there was room for more. It was an eye opener to realize the background of Sister Krone, though there really could've been more. This anime does a great job at building up some characters enough to create an attachment to them, though I believe there was room for more build up. Despite knowing about where Isabella and Sister Krone came from, it would've been nice to know how they get through giving up a child. Their backgrounds deserve a little more love and attention, as they're very important characters here as well.

Enjoyment: 10/10
Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this anime. This series was completely different from many others I've watched. The use of children and the harsh reality they have to face was something I never expected. Seeing the growth of Emma, Norman, and Ray throughout this series left me speechless. Though I felt the anime was sort of rushed, it was still really enjoyable. It was an emotional rollercoaster, but it was one I'd ride again. This anime has rewatching potential, as there's a lot of things going on all at once and there's probably things I'd catch the second time through that I didn't catch during the first. I highly recommend this one; there's a different approach to this anime that you don't really see anywhere else.
