When jojo became a part of meme culture, I was curious to see what all the hype was about. I tried to watch phantom blood, but it was a little too boring for me, so I decided to drop it. A few months later, I couldn’t find anymore anime that I enjoyed, so I turned back to jojo, as the hype still didn’t die down that much. To my surprise, I found myself enjoying phantom blood, but was still not really entertained. The final episode of phantom blood, though, intrigued me so I decided to keep watching and eventually got to part 2. Now, part 2 was a different story, it kept me entertained, the characters were extremely fun and diverse, this part made me click the “watch next episode” button nearly every time! The conclusion to part 2 made me strive for more and I eventually watched parts 3, 4, and 5. Over time, jojo became my favorite franchise. The reason I rated it 7 is because of phantom blood and the fact that this does not include the other parts.
Would DEFINITELY recommend to people who can endure a few boring episodes, you won’t regret it if you decide to start watching jojo. If you have started watching phantom blood already and have been bored of it, I recommend revisiting it once you run out of anime to watch, or you could just hang in there too! Jojo changed anime for me, and I hope it will for you as well!!
