The sequel published before the prequel

Everything in this one-shot is "potentially" the plot and setting for Chainsaw Man Part 2, so this read could potentially contain spoilers for chainsaw man readers. Read this at your own risk

It's a simple story about an older brother and his sister nayuto (nayuto is recycled in chainsaw man) nayuto is the birth of a demon prophecy in which she will destroy the world. The main focal point here is the brother's struggle of trying to understand his sister's satanic actions and how they never understood each other.

Pressured by society and his sister's actions, he decided to follow the simple heartwarming family bond trope to push through the story and ends up defending her. There really isn't anything noteworthy to say since it's a simple trope used throughout this one-shot but it's definitely worth a read if you want to understand fujimoto's writing and how he implements that into chainsaw man.

Art: It's fair enough, has some chainsaw man elements, also vice versa

Character: They aren't interesting at all, but if you switch the characters around with the chainsaw man set up then it's definitely something.

This one-shot isn't much but it's definitely a huge plot point to be considered for Chainsaw Man part 2 considering how the author fujimoto set it up to be.
