Very appropriate usage of the main character's memories as a plot device, mainly in terms of Chekov's gun and Deux ex Machina all mixed together. It's exceptionally rare for an ASMR-inducing anime like this, even for a person like me who doesn't like sweet food.
Each character had reasons to express emotions like this or that in every single episode without being very wordy and most importantly with the aid of appropriate background music. Now this is a huge plus.
And I want to reiterate that the background music tracks are unexpectedly good.
It's a great gateway anime for those who want to see pretty things with a good storyline. Like you don't need to understand the whole storyline to enjoy this if you're that in a hurry.
