Story:
Most anime's have some point in them where there's a lull in the story, or something annoying, basically anything to break the chain of events. This never happens! Everything in spice and wolf is relevant to the plot, so the spacing is great, which is crucial for a story like this one. Secondly, there is a romantic sub-plot in there, but unlike most animes it doesn't interfere with the story, nor does it get annoying! I don't know what else to say.
Sound:
The music in this amazing, even though there really isn't all that much. However, the way it's used is kind of similar to how it's used in Ico or Shadow Of the Colossus, in that what IS there, and when it IS used, because of it's rareness, enhances the music's overall effect and contributes to the mood. Voice acting rocks too ^_^

Horo is the greatest ever.
Enjoyment:
Yeah, it's fun! It's probably one of the most original things I've seen, and there's never anything that doesn't keep you interested. Hell I've watched this thing 5 times over already.
