I am a sucker for romantic comedies, and this show hits all the right places. It is adorable, funny, and very enjoyable. Don't expect some amazing story or anything, it is just a show to make you smile. Nothing more, nothing less. It is just a nice, light show that is a good escape from 2020. It is a show that you can watch with your grandma, and the adorableness of this anime just warms my heart. In the end, Tonikaku Kawaii is just a nice, calm show and should not be taken so seriously.

The story is there, but there is very little character development and the plot is very very loose.

The art style is unique I will give it that, but it is not groundbreaking

Soundtrack is average BUT THE OP IS A BANGER. I usually skip op's but this one is so good I watch it through every episode.

Character 8/10

The characters all have their strengths and weaknesses, and in the end it is their dynamic that makes the show tick. However, there is almost no character development.

Enjoyment 10/10

The show is funny, cute and is just made to be enjoyable. You can not stop smiling when watching this show

Overall 9/10

It's no masterpiece, but it is a friggin enjoyable and fun show. I am sad there are only 12 episodes though.
