Yakusoku is one of those emotionally moving songs. Even before I figured about what the song meant, I found myself moved by it. The song and video seem to tell a story of friendship and love that transcends language barriers and they are stunning.
The animation is fluid and expressive. The direction conveys its theme and mood with so much impact and momentum. The climax of the song in particular was my favorite part of the sequence.
Overall, I love everything about Yakusoku. Everyone from Eve to CloverWorks did an amazing job with it.
