For people that came here from the anime: you are in for a treat. The anime version (while somewhat different at times) has prepared you for only the prologue of this outstanding series. Once you get past volume 3 (where the anime ends) the story really begins! Kinusuga is a very talented author that manages to bring forward so many different and distinct characters while Tomose Shunsaku who is gods gift to man makes the most wonderful and sublime illustrations of all the characters (especially the girls). If you want to know if this series is for you then there are a few things you should know: Are you good with a lot of dialogue and not much action in forms of fighting, but more internal strife, competition, and deceit between the competing classes? Do you like big brain anti social Mcs that are really damn cool, but also give off a mysterious vibe and background? Do you like Waifus and lots of them to the point where almost any female character that has an illustration has a fan base for them? If you said yes to any of these, I suggest picking up Classroom of the elite. There are great characters, awesome and compelling plot mixed in with emotional and psychological events that are such a joy to experience. There's only 7 volumes total in physical, but you can find al l16 in the Cote disc, enjoy!
