Here we have an alternate of 'Oreimo' unlike in the original 12 episode, she canceled here plans to go to the US, but here, she pursued it leaving her masochistic brother alone in here room, but not for long, co'z he found a replacement form her crazy primadonna and sadistic sister in Kuroneko, but unlike his sister, she's more reserve, restricted but still a mighty handful for the muchacho (Kyousuke). well it is what it is from MAL's info.

The way the characters were drawn are still the same, so not much to say here.

Well, the usual characters from the original 12 episode anime, were now reduced to cameo roles, so this special features new bunch of supporting characters, but, as usual there is still the main lead and one former supporting lead who is now the main lead, so who are they?
Kosaka Kyosuke: He one hell of a patient brother who would be willing to put up with his sister's demands and nasty rebuffs, now she gone (spoiler, it is said that the muchacho is gonna be fetching her from the US on the last special episode), he sees Ruri Goku as his sister's replacement despite his denials.
Ruri Goku: She also goes by the name "Kuroneko," she a member of the "Anime Girls Unite " were the muchacho's hermana is part of. But, unlike the muchacho's hermana, she doesn't treat the muchacho like a pierro (dog), but she does give him a lot of cold looks and nasty comments. according to MAL info she has develop feelings for the muchacho as seen in the special episode 3.
Genosuke Miura: He's the president of the so called "The Video game Research Club," were the muchacho and Ruri joined with, co'z the muchacho suggest it and the Ruri reluctantly tried it. According to info, he's the oldest senior student who hasn't graduate since he enters the school were both the main characters were attending. Oh and there were also 2 fatso twins and another gringo who were also part of the viejo gringo's (Miura) club and not to mentioned another otaku by the name of Akagi Sena who's not only a proficient game player and designer but also a BL otaku as well, she's also a tsundere like Ruri and also gives the muchacho the same cold treatment as Ruri does.
Overall they make the special episode great.

Frankly, the reason for such rating is simple, because Kirino is not in it and the relationship between the muchacho and the lead chica makes it enjoyable to wish if they are to be in a more serious relationship.

Definitely it is something which anybody could enjoy, I mean the fact here is that the kind heated muchacho does have a silver lining in his life with the lead chica in it. But, then again I really do want his childhood friend Manami Tamaru to be his love interest........then again, like that's gonna happen.
