SO so good. I was so interested in the story from the beginning that I honestly just couldn't stop watching all night long. The only reason I would give it a 9 is because I thought the character of Near seemed kind of pointless? I don't want to give spoilers, but it just seemed unnecessary and like a replacement character.

Theres nothing wrong with the art, it's good, and some of the character designs I love (Misa and Ryuk!!), as well as the effects added for the deranged actions of some of the characters. But, sometimes the art was just a bit off? and the style wasn't my favorite thing so

I love Matsuda. Also the characters are all so so interesting and L and Light's relationship really highlighted that for me!! Just great characters, whether you like them or not (probably not)

Again literally could not stop watching. There were some parts in the second half where I was a little bit uninterested, but then again I finished the whole anime in three days because it was impossible for me to stop watching.
