Rising of the Shield Hero Rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi! This is Holy_Nezuko here, and I guess I'll review this anime! <3
Let us start with the pro's and con's. Includes "Moderate" Spoilers, Beware.
PROS:
- I LOVED the plot, I enjoy seeing how 4 heroes from different eras/realities magically come to Melromarck. (sorry 'bout my spelling)
- I really adored the characters. My favorite character is Filo definitely, because she looks so floofy as a bird.
- It was sad, but I actually was really into how that PRINCESS (not Melty) BETRAYED Naofumi. (see i dont even remember her NAME, thats how bad she was) I'm usually good at predicting anime plots n' stuff, but I never thought THAT would happen.
SPOILER ALERT!
- Very surprising that {lmao i forgot their names so i had to google "red hair guy rising of the shield hero"} L'arc and Therese were actually 'Holy Heroes' but from another reality.
CONS:
Okay, for starters all of these "cons" are in my OPINION, and it's just how I think of animes, sorry if this hurts anyone's opinions.
- Ok, there might be other people that maybe are like me in this, but I absolutely, really, really, dislike those yknow "whiny, romantic, in a way self-centered" girls in ANY anime. In my opinion, I am not a big fan of Raphtalia. I am NOT saying she's one of those girls, but it's just that I prefer her when she was young.
- Second; maybe it's just me but I got a little ticked off at how season 2 just leaves us at Naofumi and Raphtalia looking at a desert, holding hands. I mean, sure, okay, it's a nice ending BUT THATS NOT HOW YOU END A SEASON BRUTHERS. (this is just my opinion)
- In my opinion, I got kind of confused from Naofumi's character development AFTER that mess with the princess. He was cold and had a lot of trust issues. Then suddenly after meeting Filo & Raphtalia he got back to normal? I mean I know it makes sense but I got a little confused.
- Fourth; Generally, I kind of disliked how Naofumi did not trust the other heroes. Now, I know, after that incident it's highly respectable that he'd act that way but I wouldn't hold that grudge for that long. You know what I mean?
Alright, after what I've said, my younger sister and I absolutely found this show astonishing. We loved the characters, the plots and everything else.
Do I recommend it?
Yes.
What age rating would I recommend it?
Aight so pretty sure this is originally rated TV 14+ but I'd personally rate it 11 or 12+, it really depends if you're mature at the age. Of course, this is just my opinion.
