Sankarea has a good premise and mostly good execution. I can appreciate it for being different from what I would expect from most mainstream shows. The main characters have some personality, but I found the main character to be lacking much needed personality other than OMG Zombies. I did not like him or found him to be very memorable. The series moves at a fairly decent pace, but I think the series could have been shorter and more concise. Overall not a terrible show to watch if you want a show with an odd atypical premise, its fairly short too, so not a bad pick.
