This anime stands out. It is not only very much grounded in reality, but it is also one of the few anime that actually leaves a lot of questions to the audience.
If you're expecting a typical psychological thriller with a neatly wrapped up ending, don't watch this show.
This show could have easily been a live action. It's a piece that speaks about different themes such as nihilism, childhood trauma, self identity, etc.
The music in this show is absolutely perfect for it. Every scene is painted with the incredibly fitting OST.
Characters in this show are some of the best. Few shows have these many well written characters.
I will say though, the biggest downfall of this show is the art. It's not terrible, but it's not some of the better art I've seen in anime for sure. I feel like the art is kinda bland and could have been executed better. The animation and such are on point, it is only the art style I take issue with.
Overall it's a 9/10 from me. You should give this show a watch. There are a lot of incredible scenes in this show. God level writing.
