The lead character is just learning about helping out at a pet clinic so there's a lot she has to pick up but she's fairy perceptive when it comes to the wants and needs of people and their pets. Deals with some heavy pet related topics but ones even children may have to face one day.For example, the very first chapter addresses the issue of how a child might feel when his big strong dog is getting weak and older and needs him to be there for her. Art is pretty typical cute shoujo which works for this series since all the pets within the first volume are either adorable cats or dogs.
