Story: 9
Fate Stay Night's history was always good in my opinion, Shirou meets Saber and fight for the end of the Holy Grail war. The Saber arch was the one that I most liked, but the relation between both was very "shy" and becamed more strong in the final, but...
In the end I enjoyed, the director didn't made an "obvious" end.
Art: 9
I can't complain about the art, because the anime was made in 2006, and the CG that appears in some parts was the tool they had in time, so, apart from that, the rest was very good, but the battle scenes were a little "simple", however despite everything, the design of the characters was good.
Sound: 10
I gave 10 for the OST's that were present in a little quantity, but were very good! The opening's were nice (but I liked more the 1st), and ending's were nice too.
Characters: 8
The character development were nice, different from the Unlimited Blade Works route Shirou fight less, but his relation with Saber is more strong.
So, as a conclusion:
In the end, Fate Stay Night was a good anime, I have watched UBW route before this, and I liked too, but I prefer Saber route, and I hope that someday they made a remake.
This adaptation has fewer "strong battles", if you are a Fate fan you should watch without care with the art design, the history is more important in this aspect.
I had and "prejudice" about watch this route, because I was more worried with the art and the release year, in the end I was wrong and precipitated in judge the show just for that.
