And just because of this you already know why so many reviews doesn't make much sense...
Pseudo controversy explained:
1. Funny thing is that if you want fan service this is not show for you because you can find more fan service almost everywhere else!
2. Boobs in anime are not controversial no matter how they look (yes even square boobs wouldn't be really controversial). Almost any argument that try to make this serious is kinda insane... You don't have to like things and concepts the same way you don't like all music or meals, but that's it - trying to push this further is ludicrous... And lets not forget that we are talking about big boobs in JAPANESE comedy where it's used to create appealing and grotesque look at the same time (perfect for comedy and ecchi)!
3. Uzaki behavior is also good for COMEDY! (it's nothing in comparison to for example Aho-Girl)
But this is not some hardcore comedy - it's more slice of life toned down comedy - just not so much toned down only thanks to behavior and look of main characters...
Story is about friendship that probably can change in to love story. You won't find some specific story line - it's a story about friends who just hang out and do various stuff which is not something unusual in anime...
For some people this anime probably gonna be too calm and for other it's gonna be bad because it's not as calm as K-On or something (and because of really small but existing bites of ecchi)
In general this comedy is not something unusual. This style is not unusual, but in these times unfortunately also horrible misinterpretations of popular shows is not something unusual...
Misrepresentations are so common that reviews are less and less viable... If you like description just watch it, and if you don't like it then DO NOT WATCH IT and don't force yourself only because show is popular or something!
Being more objective and considering genre combination (Slice of Life, Comedy, Ecchi) this is really top show in my opinion - 9. Without trying to be more objective I would consider this just good - because it's not Mushishi, Ergo Proxy or something like that...
