Preliminary (4/13 eps)
Here is my early review of RE: Zero, and if it lives up to it's previous season!

It certainly does! It really picks up where we left off, and continues as if it was more than a one season show, which is great to see from an adored show. You won't go wrong with picking up season two, as we're in for treat, and you'll be glad to pick it up and continue it's story!

The tone is what you would expect from this show, the art and the sound matching the themes of the show in general, being that they look great, but also match the current plotline within the show. Another plus for the anime in general, really well done there. Another point in the art is that in some places, it really looks stunning.

As for characters? While the ones you already know are what you would expect of them, some new faces that have come so far are just as fun and entertaining as the cast from the first season. Every one of them feels unique and not out of place at all. Without any of them feeling out of place, or being straight up annoying in their characterization. They really push this new arc along really well, and bring good plot progression with who they are.

All in all, is season two looking as good as season one? You damn sure it is.
