Reading this underrated manga really did taught me pretty interesting facts about the Meji period (for those who do not know the Meji period was dated from 1867-1912, thanks Wiki for clarifying this with me lol). The one thing that really taught me while reading this manga was that I honestly never knew that men suits were called "Mantle". I actually never thought Japan progressed greatly to having "western" fashion during that time period. Before knowing about this, I really thought they had their own fashion and didn't care about the "western" fashion until later on. Yup I was proven wrong as a dumb European thanks to this manga lol!!!
Anyways not only this manga was interesting but so adorable and simple, like the relationship between Arima and Hana was just heartwarming. It's just unfortunate and tragic that it didn't last long. They would've been such a great couple together.
