I was pretty excited from seeing the trailer because I love over-the-top crazy absurd themes and concepts. I certainly enjoy other ecchi anime series.
This though...well...gets very tiresome, very fast. There's certainly an art to how to make an ecchi anime ridiculous, and hilarious. And that art is how to balance content with variety.
No one likes hearing the same joke 24 times right? Well -- thats essentially my experience here. I enjoyed episode 1 --
And then I was bored. It's the same thing on repeat.
And then I was confused, as I found myself cheering for the antagonist instead. Rationalizing why the main characters are boring.
It's a weird show and I don't understand it. Would not recommend to anyone, even if they did like ecchi -- only if you like watching the same gimmick / joke on repeat.
