It's true that after episode 8 it was never the same, but more good characters started to appear and I was able (but with big rock on my chest) to finish this anime. So, now about my opinion and evaluation....Claymore is the best anime I've ever seen. This is my No.1 of all time. Here are some of the reasons:
- the art style is just 10/10, the landscapes, the characters appearance, the interesting variety of different monsters. Amazing!
- characters, what to say.. totally 10/10! The biggest part of the characters in this anime are strong, smart, beautiful (and savage sometimes) female knights with half-human half-monster bodies. From a young age they are learned to fight with the big swords known as claymore and on martial arts.
- plot (story), I can give it 10/10 because of all the mysteries around the Organization, the suspicious theories, the individual stories of each claymore (how they became a claymore and what they all lost), the ideal of the love as a reason for living, the revenge and the promise that keep us alive & give strength to move forward. I learned that we have to remember our past no matter how bad was it so that we can create a better future.
- action, in this anime there are lots of cool and great battles that can stop your breath.
So, that's! Hope there will be more future watchers of Claymore, because this anime is really great, my top and favorite! A lot of beautiful landscapes, interesting characters, cool action scenes, a little bit of horror elements and more, you will see! ;-)
