I am glad High School of Dead is not like its name. The series is not only a school students who is trying to escape from school full of zombies.
The Character design and drawings are great specially the women characters and their bodies are very hot. The colour of this anime is successful. The Main Characters Komuro and Rei ‘s designs reminds me Lelouch and Shirley from Code Geass. And also Komuro is like Busou Renkin’s main character. Then there is Saeko who I loved most. I think about High School of Dead’s most positive think is Saeko for me.
The action scenes and the fights with zombies are good and enjoyable. In the most of the anime series these scenes seems poor quality than the other scenes but High School of Dead is not like the others.
There is a interesting way in High School of dead to tell the story. There were a lot of probabilities and events about story but the director choosed to focus team work and the characters falling for each other more and more from the begining to end. Even some time after, they start to prefer eachother to their own family members.
I dont understand what the purpose of this show. When our heroes surrounded by zombies I waited the excitement and the horror will rise but then we are being face to face to the women characters panties and breasts when they blow up zombies heads. So the anime losted its horror elements in the most excitable scenes. And also there is a contradiction in this series. I never afraid and also I cant enjoyed ecchi scenes. If This anime wants to incite viewers, then the zombies and the most of things are becoming wast of time. And I think it is better to make a pure hentai series. Because High school of Dead went like a Hentai anime sometimes. And some of the scenes became really nonsense to show breasts.
I am not sure but I think the High School of deads’s Manga still continues. So I will wait to see the second season of the anime series.
