I was so excited. The premise sounded amazing and with each arc, there was such great build-up, and then nothing. The conclusions to each arc were just so underwhelming. There was so many instances were they told us what the characters were feeling or what happened to them in these big vulnerable monologues where it would of been so much more impactful to have a flashback or just something! Show not tell! I'm only so annoyed with this anime because I had such high hope.
The characters are absolutely phenomenal I will say! They are definitely the highlight. I mean if you really like your name you will probably like this, just don't get your hopes up
