Hyouka is one of the few really compelling mystery anime I've seen, if not the only one. What characterizes it and makes it so unique is that it does not need to rely on excessive action or traumatic events: from the simplicity of everyday problems, it allows the attentive viewer to fully enter the plot.
How? The shape. It is easy to devalue the form in favor of the content and vice versa, and yet this is one of those wonderful cases where the two shake hands conciliatory.
The soundtrack is outstanding, the characters are quite interesting and full of personality, the animation is brilliant and detailed, one of the smoothest I've ever seen, a work of art.
I find it wonderful, as with daily mysteries they can generate so much expectation. Then all the technical section for me is ... very beautiful, many scenes are art. I recommend it 100%
