Mixed Feelings
This review will be based on the dub as I don't have access to the original if it does exist out there

Story:

So regarding the story itself I'm going to discuss it in two parts, the characters themselves and the adventures. I'll start with the short ones: In comparison to the first season Chris and Joy have grown up and are implied to be in a relationship but since it is a kids show that'll be what it is.

For the adventures they went on the same Old testament chapters they already explored on the first season albeit in more detail. Since Uriah (the kid who chases the dog in the picture) is technically the main character now I guess it makes sense to them to review the old chapters. In my opinion they should explore more of the Bible especially if they wanted to appeal to a larger audience

Art/Sound/Character:

Same animation is used, new songs in the dub, catchy, not much to say. As for characters I am just disappointed that we didn't continue from Chris' perspective, it should've been more of him growing up as a better person after all the exposure from the magical book.

Enjoyment/Overall:

Yep, I guess I was pretty much disappointed. I also watched the reboot series they started in the 2000s which was now aimed at westerners and I guess the actual effort was placed there. They should've ended at season 1 as there was no clear meaning nor was the 2nd season ending a good wrap-up for the anime as a whole.
