I've just recently completed watching the anime, reading the comments beforehand. The reviews were harsh saying that there were many cliches in Plastic Memories but don't all animes share that in common?
In a world where realistic humanoids called Giftias are created and are coexisting in society after being integrated to solve humanity's various issues of being lonesome or depression. The anime itself was great but not perfect for the most part, it has a cast of supporting character that are very decent and the relationship development between the protagonist was alright. Overall, I definitely think you should atleast watch a couple episodes before judging it.
