This was actually one of the few rare cases where or read (and sometimes found) the manga first before even touching the anime. I was actually pretty excited when I first found out that there was an anime for it and immediately went to go watch it.

Story - 5/10

The plot in the anime is pretty bland because it ended so quickly. The 12 episodes only consists of a few plotless episodes here and there and the rest focused on Keima capturing females with runaway spirits in them. Still, the story will get some merit because of the whole runaway spirit concept and its originality. As a reader of the manga, I felt a little disappointed since it ended with only 12 episodes, none of which containing any thick plot at all which only begins to appear later on in the manga.

Art - 8/10

The art is pretty good, not much that I would complain about. The opening is pretty nicely done.

Sound - 8/10

Also pretty good, there isn't really many ways you can screw up on sound.

Character - 5/10

Similar comments given to the story. There's minimal character development because there was such little time to develop it at all.

Enjoyment - 7/10

However, having said all that, I quite enjoyed seeing the first few chapters of the manga in color and sound. I can't say that it was terrible to watch, and it's a little like a collection of one-shots.

Overall - 7/10

I guess if you're planning to watch something short and refreshing, you'd probably enjoy this anime.
