The person who wrote Code Geass must just have a way with knowing what people don't expect and confusing us until the very very end. I liked it, but the first season was better in my opinion. Now, this review is for the people that want a very simple and concise review of it, because I am not in the mood to write every single detail:
Story:
Everything was good up until the last few episodes when he became (spoiler) and began fighting everyone. It was just overdone! Too much fighting, not enough narrative. And too many 'technological advances'. In the end, they're not really important. But the ending (as in last five minutes) was epic. Very smart, very well-thought out and very sad.
And so, I am not kidding when I say that the writer of this knows how to surprise people.

Art:
Nothing to say really. Classic anime.

Sound:
I love the music in this. I don't know how to elaborate, but the music was just very fitting to the situations. Especially the last five minutes. Even the opening credits, the songs get me addicted.

Character:
The characters were interesting, but unrealistic, and I think that the writer didn't intend this. He wanted the characters to be real with real personalities and all. But all the characters just coming and going to different sides was unrealistic and it was a bit confusing. But, the characters, especially Lelouch's character, were very interesting to watch, and so they were enjoyable.

Overall, I liked this anime. It's the second anime I've seen and so hopefully, my expectations of the future anime i want to watch aren't too high :)
