I say this without a hint of irony: If you read Prison School and are upset by the ending, you have been successfully trapped and summarily punished for your base thinking. Your preconceptions have been preyed upon. You have been played.
I think to really appreciate, to really ENJOY the deranged ending of this manga you might benefit by reading and having an understand of common rom-com manga and their tropes. I believe it's something that is difficult to understand without the proper context, and I can see why on the surface people are generally quick to disparage the ending. But I promise you, just because it is difficult to understand does not make it bad.
I have thought about this deeply for months and months now. 10/10, best ending to any piece of media I've ever read.
