Toradora! has to be one of my favorite animes. The thing that is so enjoyable about the anime is how well written the characters are. I feel that Taiga and Ryuuji are believable characters, as well as the more minor characters. The writing balances comedy and drama very naturally. The dramatic parts really pull you in as well. It's not an anime where you will just passively watch characters fall in love. The excellent writing gets you to feel for them. The more you watch, the more you get sucked in to the storyline! If you like high school romance stories, you will fall in love with Toradora!
