True Tears has the general Harem feel, centered around a young boy and 3 girls that like him. The general story outline, since it is a Harem, is similar to many others out there, mainly, girls like guy, guy likes girls.. and he has to choose between all of the girls that he likes. HOWEVER, what made this anime so enjoyable for me was its unpredictability. In many Harem, the viewer can have a sense of who the guy really likes, and his choice is almost always just a confirmation of what the viewers expected. In this anime, however because of its short duration, and because of the story mainly focusing on 1 guy and 2 girls(with 1 girl having a supporting role) the character development was very well done, even though I had supported one of the girls in this anime all the way, I was unsure until the end if the girl I supported would be chosen. Because of this, I think that the tag goes along very well with this anime. The drama that this anime created in only 13 episodes surpasses many other similar animes, it had me extremely curious on which girl the main character was going to choose.
As for sound and art, well its pretty much typical.... though I liked them.. XD
