This Review is for S2 only, so it may contain Spoilers.

Since this is the fate franchise, it will probably spoil 1 game, 2 seasons of anime and a bunch of unrelated stuff that I don't even know about yet.

After the downer ending of S1 where the Heroine basically tells the hero who just lost almost everything to fuck off or he'll die this is the second part of the story.

Of course the Hero reconciles with the Heroine shortly after (she's a Tsundere after all), but they are stil in a pretty bad position. The plot amps up even further, more fighting happens and over all it gets more intense - but in a good way. While an experienced anime viewer and stil a newbie to the fate franchise I could see the plot twist come from miles away, but that doesn't matter. It's stil a good one.

The overall story is good, the fight scenes are amazing and the soundtrack is good as well. The dub is good as well, at least in German and English.

The best points of this Anime are the Art (everything looks amazing) and... Rin. Rin is a Tsundere done right. If you like Tsunderes, the Anime is worth watching just for her.

The worst part of the Anime in my opinion is the Ending and that there will probably not be a new season with these characters the way they turned out, because it's part of a story with multiple endings - and I think it would be very confusing to go on from here.

So yeah, how did I rate an Anime that has the worst part as "no third season" just an 8/10? It's a good story, but nothing that sucked me in. I like to invest into characters for a long time and not revalue their traits over again because they are in a different timeline now. If you don't care about character growth and character building, this is the anime for you.
